I tried to contact You last week, but it wasn't possible, because I didn't know how to do it, there is no e-mail in Your forum settings.

Once You were posting questions on how to upgrade software in Europe. Did You upgrade Your Segway's software allready?

i have to make a roundtrip to NY city and i come with my segway plateform to Segway dealer.
Buy my li-ion and make the update, that's it.

Seville, It is not that easy. The dealers can only upgrade your platform's software when a Segway Inc employee is in town to perform upgrades. February 6th, they will be in Los Angeles and Orange County. Once you have your lithium ions, you can not take your machine with you on the return flight as the lithiums have not been certified to fly on passenger planes yet. But don't take your machine across the Atlantic as you will be very disappointed.

Fred is right.
The best way for You is to bring or send Your HT to a Segway dealer in France. It doesn't matter if You bought it there or not. The dealer will send the HT to Italy, where the software-upgrade will be done. And Your dealer will order the Li-Ions for You.

Believe me, I tried everything, also to get in direct contact with the Segway service in Italy. But finally I did what I wrote above; sure, I brought my HT to Segway of Vienna...

Bringing Your HT to New York and having sent it back to France will be more expensive than upgrading in Italy. And You will not be sure if there is an technician at Segway of New York at the same time when You are there.
