Correction is in order. I said I haven't been to a CES in 25 years.

No, but I had an awful hard time looking into her eyes. :-)

I noticed that "eight inches and a whole new view".
That was sweet.

Bob,
As Mr. L says...those 8 inches do make a huge difference. I'm just disappointed you didn't offer her a ride.

Bob how do you stay so still when you're stopped like that? I guess I haven't learned that skill yet. Any suggestions?

Jennifer,
Been on it for over 2 1/2 years now so all seems automatic now. I guess you just need to know where to plant your feet for neutral equilibrium. As Mr. Kesuke Miyagi (Karate Kid) might have said,"Become one with the machine" :)
Mr. L, Sal, and Desert_Seg.
I got more in return than anticipated. The fellow with the camera invited me to visit in Port Townsend when I get up that way this summer. Went so far as to offer me a place to park my rig in his driveway (hope it's huge- I need 55' with the tow).
It pays to be a gentleman - not well, but it pays. ;)
Pam,
Thank you.

Hey X-man, how'd you get inside my computer screen? Nice to see that your Seg is still a "pretty-girl-pointing-chariot." Some things never change. :)

We went gliding in Port Townsend two years ago. Let us know when you come up and we might meet you there.
Segway - What's holding you up?

Broo,
It's a factory defect in my machine. Every time it sees a pretty girl, it almost without fail steers right toward her. It really goes bonkers when it sees a bevy of them. Thought I'd just live with it because it's such a hassle to return the machine to the mother ship.:)
Terry,
Sometime this summer I intend to be up that way. No idea when as I wing it from day to day.

Bob,
I have the same problem when I'm gliding. However, it happens no matter which of my machines I'm on so I believe it is a factory installed function, one of those "easter eggs" that engineers so love to create!
