I just got this email from 10mph. It looks like things are going well, and i'm sure their premiere will happen soon enough.

Hello Friends,

It's now been over a year since we finished crossing the country at 10 MPH. We've spent the last year working very hard to create an exciting film - one that we know will inspire and entertain.

Making a film and finding distribution can sometimes take years. We want to be able to share this with the thousands of you who have supported us or are interested in hearing about our updates. To thank you for sticking by us, we're going to release a scene exclusively to you.

Click here to see part of our trip through Pennsylvania. The music is a piece by Meghann Robinson. It depicts the strong indie style of the music throughout the film. Please only share this with friends – this is not to be released to the public at large.

We hoped to have a world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Unfortunately they didn't accept our film. It's an extremely competitive festival and usually takes some kind of significant backing to get in.

We're still very excited about premiering our film soon. We've now turned our attention to SXSW, a film festival in Austin. It's in March and would be an ideal place to have our first public screening. But like Sundance, it's very competitive. We should know in the next couple weeks if we're in.

If we don't make it into SXSW, we've already been invited to a few smaller festivals in the spring and are waiting to hear from about a dozen others around the country.

Over the last few months, we've been perfecting the edit, sending screeners to industry people and film festivals, and exploring distribution options. The response we've gotten from the people who've screened the film has been overwhelmingly positive. No doubt good things are on the way for 10 MPH.

Thanks for your continued support. If you know of film festivals, distributors, or others that may be interested in learning more about our film, please spread the word or help us get in touch.

Also if you are on myspace, hit us up some time: http://myspace.com/10mph.

Hope you all keep breathing life into your dreams.

Anything worth doing for 2 hours is 10 times more worthwhile if done for 20 hours.

The film has really evolved from what we all saw at SegwayFest in New Hampshire last summer.

Still kind of fun to look at those guys, and know that we know them.

You know the scene I love best?

The end to the trailer where they cows are looking at the Segway gliding by. You just have to wonder what is going through their heads! Something like:

"These dang humans; can't they just ride horses?"

I love it when we glide in the country past the cows. They are quite curious, and there is always one who is the cow in charge and has to look and moo at you.

I think they are saying "Now don't you go and think that we are going to get on one of those things"

I think we need to get the publicity folks from Chick Filet (sp) (the Chicken fast food stores from North Carolina) (who use the cows in their ads all the time,) to do a commercial, with a guy on a segway.. And the cows doing something wierd in the backround...

Wow, looking really great.

I love that new trailer. This kind of film is really made in the editing bay. Do it well, folks.

Not only do I love 10MPH but I love the concept behind it.

As for those cows...I like the Chik Filet (sp?) spelling concept!

Can't wait to see it on TV (Will, I'll contact them and we can share the revenue ;))
