There was a P series in the Starbucks on the Circle in Indianapolis at the lighting of the circle.

My friend who works behind the counter apparently got no response from the gentleman when she tried to start a conversation with him about it. (She is very knowledgable about Segways). All she got was that he was visiting from Nashville, TN.

Awwww...that's nothing. We've had Segway's in Starbucks and in Costas...In fact, Costas lets us plug in and recharge all the time!

I'm constantly in my local Starbucks. not enough room to get to the counter, so I just spin around and lean it next to the door.

I love my magic carpet!

Hooters here in Indy doesn't mind us bringing Segways into the place, as long as it's not that crowded. I doubt they would allow us in tomorrow: The Colts are playing Monday night football.

That's Brook he is one of our DC Seggers (actually X because he got mad at our group because they were not pushing the limit enough) - tell him to get off that Segway and not ride it inside or on the Metro... And then you will get to see the ultimate fury of a mad Segway user. He is a big guy too!

Worse than that, my computer image makes it look like he was wearing white shoes after Labor Day! What gaul! He clearly likes to push the limits...

... tell him to get off that Segway ... Balderdash. The Starbucks at 7700 Norfolk Ave, Bethesda, MD, is plenty spacious enough for the wheels, and that part of town is youthful and high-tech. If it is a bull in a china shop situation it's not because of the EPAMD.

Not a moderator here on SC - but tell you, I want to be there when someone tells Brook to get off his Segway - it will be a show worth buying a ticket for... He is attached to that machine and big on glider rights!

Karl - he can wear white - he votes in your direction!

Can't see why in the world anyone would want to glide into a Starbucks.

That stuff is nasty.
