Our company is performing market research to determine what new add-ons would be of interest to current Segway owners. Please take a minute to let us know if any of the following products interest you:
1. A helmet Segway with built-in rearview mirror.
2. A stand-alone rearview mirror which attaches to your Segway.
3. An ipod holder.
Also, please feel free to post any additional products which may be desirable as all write-in choices will be considered as well.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Rear-facing light holder -- attached to the fender, perhaps.

Snap down waterproof cover for Charger Port and key port. More visible charging indicator.

I want to look like this dude on my Segway for the winters.

No Joke!
I want:
1. A suit with batteries that'll keep me warm.
2. I want a helmet with hidden headlights and ipod like features in it that also has a cell phone mic built into it.
3. On the suit I want to be able to mount my phone on my left for arm.
4. I want a bracket that attaches to the Segway Control Shaft so that My legs can easy slip into to in order to prevent the Segway from jerking back and forth when I travel with no hands.
1. I'd pay up to $800 for the Helmet.
2. $500 for teh suit.
3. $150 for the bracket.
This thing rules.

Check it out. This would be so cool! Imagine if the windshield on the helmet could display gps and the internet?
Oh ya, and I bumped up the top speed and battery range. I took off one side of the handlebars too. It could be like the "pro" model. Maybe have teh other side flip out when ever you wanted it to rest.
Just dreamin...

On a serious note, I'd love to see some type of an effective tail light system. I have a clip on LED thing from inova that works well, but is a hassle if I do not have my 25.0 bag attached. Somethign that was LED that went on the back of the platform or something along those line would be a nice add on that I'd pay for.
I second the motion for a better charger port cover and a keyport cover.

I'd like some sort of 12 volt power takeoff so we could use a whole varity of auto accesories.
I'm sorry but none of the items you listed in the first post interest me.
Some sort of none geeking looking lighting system so you can be seen from the back at night would be of interest.
In fact any type of cool decorative night lighting solution would be worth purchase.

Isn't cool lighting a relative term? http://www.segwaychat.com/photos/KSagal/lights1.JPG http://www.segwaychat.com/photos/KSagal/rearview1.JPG

I would not recommend a built in prism type rear view mirror in a helmet. I bought one made in England and did not like it at all. You had to concentrate too much on it and trying to figure out what was happening behind you in a very small screen. Also, you must ALWAYS wear a helmet. I was fortunate to be able to sell it at not too much loss.
Several company's make mounts for everything imaginable. From every brand of GPS to cell phones and even small TV's. I have a mount specifically made for the oval cross section of the Segway handlebar and also for my Garmin GPS. I think that market is saturated.
