Very nice video indeed. When the snow starts to fall here in the midwest, I will remember to play this video and think of warmer climes that go hand in hand with the Seg.

You all just want to twist the knife don't you! LOL
Well, here in Indianapolis, IN, USA, it's 13 degrees outside. Ugh!

Oh sure....anyone can ride around in the sun, on a nice warm day. If you want REAL fun, jump on the old Seg and go for a glide in Snow, and wind, cold...now that's FUN!!! ;^)
I decided to take out an XT for a couple of hours on Saturday, seeing as how we have finally gotten our first snowfall that's
stuck around, and the temperature has dropped to normal December levels (read that to mean about 10 degrees below disgustingly cold)
Despite it being cold enough to freeze the you-know-what's off of a brass monkey, it was a blast! The XT likes snow, quite a lot. We have about 4-6 in. of snow on the ground, and the XT had no issues with bogging down, slipping around, nothing. Of course, you have to pay attention to slippery spots, but it was a ton of fun. I think the ticket for keeping warm is using pogues on the bars; I slid our kayaking gear on, not perfect since they're open in two spots instead of one like the bicycle models, but they really made a huge difference. Don't have an XT?? Well, get one, for Heaven's sake! You're missing out! If you don't want to go that route, ETT's or Zorba's spikes are great fun. Why miss out on months of gliding???

Yep, weather here has been just miserable. Daytime emperature in the low 80's, sun has been shining, and the breeze blowing.
I'm just going to have to get my parka out of the closet and .... wait a minute, what parka?

The videos both don't seem to be working -- does anyone else have this issue?
Other videos on the same site (Zippy videos) seem fine.

Just out of interest both of these video clips are filmed in Christchurch New Zealand. Ian and myself just love gliding about whenever we have spare time and the wives give us us pass so to speak. We are just coming into the peak of our summer period now and we still have daylight up to around 9.30pm in the evenings
What more could you ask for.........
