value of used batteries

I have a pair of Segways and am considering upgrading to the new batteries. Can anyone give me an idea of what the old batteries are worth. Mine are about 1 1/2 years old and in excellent condition. The units were stored for a few months before I bought them from a company that was going to use them in their business. I have owned them since new in the box and have taken exceptional care of the batteries. I still get 4 1/2- 5 hours of riding in the local park.

You can always use those batteries, just because you are upgrading to the LiOn's - does not mean that you must give the cureent ones up.

Just keep them charged - by putting them on your machine from time to time, and they will be great if you travel by plane, or just need an extra set to have on hand.
