Will the Lion Batteries also be available for the P?

The last word from LLC is that they won't be. They wouldn't be able to increase the range by more than 50% or so in the current package size, and increasing the depth enough to double the range would reduce the ground clearance to only 2 inches.

Actually, the "last word" from Segway (at Fest) was that they are considering it. Apparently the P is a big seller in Europe so they may be able to find a manufacturer for LIOns for the p as demand for the unit grows.
