Imagine this: Seven children, ages 7-8 all promised Segway rides at my son’s birthday party on a Saturday. Then, two days before the big event, my Segway goes on the fritz.
I called Bob Palick of Segway of the Lehigh Valley to make arrangements for servicing. He finds out about the party and lends me his Segway so the kids are not disappointed. Even gives me some traffic cones to use. Saved from a fate worse than death: these kids were armed--we had a piñata. Thanks to Bob, the party was a great success and the Segway rides were a great hit with both the kids and their parents.
