The ""bag drag"" problem of the 25.0 bag is a bit annoying, so yesterday I took the bak and sewed the interior part to the exterior part, on the top and bottom only. It didn't take that long.
I hven't really put it to the test yet but I hope the stitches don't come out.
At least the bag looks a lot better!

Take a look at my photo album for another solution.
If LLC was to offer fenders that were shaped like the original ones, but in the i180 colors, how many i180 owners would switch? That would eliminate 25.0 bag drag, the 25.0 bracket wouldn't wear on the fender, the upper cargo assembly would fit, and it would get rid of the silly slots and mug guards. I wish they hadn't changed that design when they got it right the first time.

Thanks! This seems to be a good and quite easy solution.
I just realized how small those fenders really are. I think I have the same model of the I180 li-ion as Yossi. My fender covers much more of the wheel but there is still a small portion where the bag could touch the wheel...
So I think I will try to get also some kind of bag bottom protection.

I had the same problem, I cut a 1/8" piece of board the same size as the bottom and rounded the corners so it wouldn't wair throught.painted it black and place it at the bottom so the weight be distribute evenly so far no drag.

The remedy for "bag drag" is to position the splash guards in the center of the fender, thereby providing more support and clearance.

That works as long as you don't ride in the rain.
Someone posted that LLC suggested they buy a pair of the original fenders to keep the bag from dragging. So why don't they offer them in red and yellow?

I think some people misuinderstood my post, I have the i170, from Segway of Orange County (thanx again Jim!) and when im carrying a lot of stuff it slltill drags on theside of the fender on the wheel.
Sewing it hoists the bag up, so it doesn't sag and doesn't come near the fender/wheel.
I could imagine how annoying it would be with an i180!
