My name is Owen Klatte, and I am putting together an event in Pasadena on October 8th for Big Brothers of Los Angeles. The event, Adventure Day, will bring in about 30 Little Brothers and their Bigs to engage in a variety of challenging, fun, and eye-opening activities that these underprivileged kids would never normally get to experience.
I'm not a Segway owner myself, but I am wondering if any owners in the LA area would be willing to participate for a couple of hours by letting the kids ride their Segways. I know the kids (and their Bigs!) would love it, and it would fit beautifully with the day's theme.
