Ok, I've thought on this for a while.... buy new, sell, keep old, get offboard charger etc.....
I've finally decided to sell my NiMh batteries BEFORE I buy a set of the Lions. That's the only way I'll be able to afford them sooner than later.
I'll never need to fly with my seg, so there's no need for me to keep the NiMh batteries.
I've had my seg since December of 04, (xmas gift to myself) and started using it consistently in February (too much rain in Jan).
Using my GPS I tracked my mileage whenever I could, and I averaged about 8-10 miles per week (mostly on weekends). So I figure I've put about 300-400 miles on it.
I've taken very good care of the batteries and condition them at least once a month. I'm getting the same range on them as when I first got my Seg in December. Of course there are a few scuffs on the bottom but nothing out of the normal scope of wear and tear.
I just wanted to post here first to give everyone time to think about picking up a good set of NiMhs before I put them up on ebay.
As soon as I figure out weight, ground shipping, take pictures etc., and post on ebay, I'll update this thread. (probably in about a week).
btw, batteries are off an i170
