I170 year of manufacture

Could someone please help. I'm trying to buy another segway for my wife. I would like to buy a near new one. What year and what price should you expect to pay for an I170. Also what version of software is in the 170 is it capable of using the new battries? or does it have to be upgraded?

the 170's are 2004 models, with version 12 software. It can be upgraded to 14.0 software and use the lithiums batteries as well. Price? tough to say.

The i170 is still being sold by a few dealers that have overstock. You should always look for something new if you are interested in the warranty though. You can find an i180 with the 14.0 software and manufacturers warranty, starting around $4495.00
