Long Beach Glide

Did you know there was a Russian spy sub in Long Beach Harbor? No? Neither did I until today.
My wife (zzcarolyn) organized a glide through scenic/historic Long Beach Harbor today with the help of Segway of Long Beach. What a fun and interesting I pod tour. I not only learned tons about this famous city but also enjoyed the warm sun, sea breeze and Segfriends.
The Long Beach Segstaff were all super great to us and couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating even as busy as they were selling and demoing.
After the Glide we all had lunch at Bubba Shrimp and swapped stories, laughed and caught up on each other’s careers and life experiences. What could be more fun?
All in all a superb day.

Yes indeed, it was great. More fun and laughs were had as we tried to "invent" segway square dancing. But that will probably be a whole different story. If you missed this group glide, judging by the positive responses from those that attended, you can guarantee that there will be more. Thanks Carolyn for putting it together.
