Trade in Your Segway Ht
Segway of Oakland is promoting its unique Trade-In Program for 2005, a special invitation for Segway owners across the country to ‘upgrade’ to new 2005 models and still obtain payment for their old units.
“We are helping our customers by providing value for used Segways and also increasing our rental fleet just in time for summer,” Steinberg noted.
The 2005 Segway models coming in April will feature new looks, as well as higher-power Lithium batteries, extending the range of current models by 12 to 14 miles. They have already caused a stir, with pictures popping up all over the Internet before the units were rolled out of production.
“In America, everybody wants the newest and fastest model, so we are giving consumers a fair trade-in value for their used Segways,” Steinberg said.
“This appeals to those who want more value from their existing units but want to upgrade to the cool new models,” he said. “We are convinced those old units still have a life. That’s why we are even accepting units that don’t work. This program is modeled after auto dealerships and their trade-in policies.”
Act now and Segway of Oakland (1-800-659-8731) will pay the following for your trade-in:
- $3,000 to $3600; i67 or i70 (hypertronics) series; working, less than one year old no damage
- $2,500 to $3,500 for an e series; or for an i series more than one year old; working, less than one year old no damage
- $2,000 to $2,500 for a p series; working, less than one year old no damage
- $1,000 for any Segway that doesn’t work; complete; formly working Segway with all parts intact.
