A customer picked up an i Series yesterday.

His car is a Mini Cooper, we were astounded when the carton fitted in through the rear hatch. It was a snug fit, but it went in fine, with 2 people lifting.

I don't have small cars, but I have carried 3 segways on its original box and 3 mounted segways on the back of my Range Rover. One of the mounted Segways had to be dismounted from the handlebar.

:D I have been carrying my Seg in the back of my Mini Cooper S
for 3 yrs or so. I built a small ramp which fits in the back also.
I lower the back seats, power asst up the ramp. The Seg fits like
a glove with the handle bars lowered. It takes maybe two minutes
to load up, and I'm on my way...

I have had my Segway in my Mini Cooper S, but I prefer to haul it my Mini van instead.

Call it a draw Benji, I squeeze mine into the Roadster!

To segue, or not to segue, that is the question.

Since I am an avid 4wd fan, I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee. On route to Segfest New Hampshire, we packed in 1 XT, 2 I's & a P series with three adults and baggage. I am certain with only two adults onboard, one should be able to pack in 6 segs, yes six! into this versatile Jeep.

That I would like to see, I assume its the coupe version, unless you take the wheels off and stick it in the front!

:D

I lucked out. An i180 base unit fits into the trunk of an Acura TL with zero (0) to spare. It hits the rubber trunk seal both top and bottom at the same moment, then pops in. Or out. I lucked out there.

I was surpised it goes in. The CS goes nicely in the coupe bit and the base unit and wheels sit next to me on the passenger seat!

Nice stories.
With a little ingenuity, an HT can be packed really well.

My surprise was that we were talking about the shipping carton. Not just the HT but the complete shipping carton fits into a Mini!

The carton would also fit into a Smart - just not with the Segway inside the carton! Fitting the carton in (fully populated), is quite an achievement for any car! It won't fit into a Mazda 6.
