OK, as a proud new owner of a red i180 I want to share my shopping experience.

On Saturday, July 9th, I went to one of two nearby (within 90 miles) dealerships (dealer 1) and talked to the owner about buying a blue or red i180 and I talked by phone to the other dealership's owner (dealer 2). Both took my name and contact information and both explained the short supply.

Monday, July 11th, dealer 2 called to let me know he had contacted LLC and that they were shipping him some yellow i180s on the 18th and maybe we could work something out until he got a red one.

Thursday, July 14th, dealer 2 emailed that he had again talked to LLC and they would ship a red i180 the next day.

Today, Tuesday, July 19th, dealer 2 again called to let me know that the red i180 had arrived and that it was mine if I wanted it (I did and it's in my living room now!). He also sold if for $100 off list.

Long story short (I know, too late for that)...
- I have heard nothing from dealer 1.
- I have a beautiful i180 (with Li-Ions).
- I can highly recommend Segway of Corvallis, Oregon!

Also, no sales tax in Oregon!!

Question...the label on the box (with serial number) has a 14 in the 7 box. Does this mean the machine was built on July 14? Boxed on July 14?

Michael,

Welcome to SegwayChat!

Dealers are people...some are better listeners than others.

Now, glide safe and have lots of fun.
