Hey folks, long time no see!

Well, I went on a little jaunt the other day, and discovered my packs are now just about dead - I was getting poor performance before, but now I get about a mile out of them, then kaput.

So, anyone have any information as to when they're going to be clearing out this backlog of orders for the LiIon packs? Anyone placed an order that's been filled yet? Going off to college in a month, so I'm curious as to whether there's a way of getting this taken care of before I go up.

Also - how's the performance been as far as using these with an i167? I'm curious as to whether the newer ones are any more efficient, though the raw figures seem to support the almost 2x range increase...

Any answers would be much appreciated!

-Jordan

My I180 w/ li-ions just ran 20.3 mi yesterday on a charge. That was measured by gps and the trip was on the flat Florida terrain.

As far as avail. the dealers in this area has all there 180 selling w/li-ion.

Good Luck

My i180 gets a bout 25 miles too, and I've been using it everyday for 3 months now and there hasn't been a drop in performance at all.

This thing rules.

Skip and I rode his lithium-equipped i180's again last Sunday morning from my place along Lake Michigan about 5 miles north of downtown Chicago. We went along the lake to Navy Pier, around Navy Pier, through the north side of the city, through Lincoln Park, and back to my place. 13.2 miles, and we were both still showing a 2-1/2 bar (50%) charge. Neither of us are small boys, and we went full-out speed a good part of the way.

These batteries rock. I just wish they could be made available "in the summer of 2005" as originally promised. They truly are almost worth the price.

I've only had mine two days. I just did a 15 mile trip up and down steep hills and I still have 50% left. I weigh 200 punds and I was going full speed. I have never driven the older models, but I am very happy with my new machine...

When I was at SegFest in New Hampshire, the answer I got from one of the guys leading the tours (sorry don't remember his name) was September. Maybe I should have also asked WHICH September!

The goal of the glide is not the destination.

Kevin, thanks a bunch. Everyone else's answers are also much appreciated - but hearing a month is just what I need!

It'll be good to finally get ahold of these packs - only been waiting for them for how long? Two years? I just need something that can make it to the commuter rail station and back and on a little jaunt around Boston as necessary, and NiMH packs just don't cut it - especially mine!
