Our favorite inventor was recently made an honorary member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) "For innovating numerous medical devices, thereby improving the quality of life for many, and for inspiring youth to heightened interest in engineering through imaginative competitions".

Do you know what’s great about Dean Kamen? He CARES about the human race! After touring his house and seeing the things he’s done, it’s amazing.

He is trying to bring the Sterling engine to the masses and that means power. With his perfecting this engine and getting it out to the third world as a power source and having the third world folks clean up their water, life for them will be soooo much better. He is one great humanitarian.

I agree. And I think that the IEEE's above quote should be ammended with "...and for allowing the masses to GLIDE." ;)
