I did not attend the NH SegFest and wanted to know, from those who did attend, what they thought about 10 MPH. The movie is listed on the Internet Movie Database imdb.com but no one has posted any comments. On a scale of 1 to 10 (one being a Pauly Shore movie and ten being Citizen Kane) where would you rank it? I am very curious as to how the audience reacted.

A bit of a letdown?
I wasn't there, but I heard there was a standing ovation at the end of the Segfest screening.

Brooklyn,
I just saw it yesterday and they did a good job with documenting the reason for the venture and everything that went into it. They then went into a state by state viewing of different people and reactions to the segway. For those of us that know and love the segway it was great to see the movie. Something like this could have gone in many different directions but I personally feel they captured many of the important parts and at the same time made it enjoyable to watch.

If it were a nice story of America, and a Guy on a Segway - it would be about a nice boy from Brooklyn with a PIMPED OUT Segway!
the film is about the Matt and Ben of the Segway world, and Ben's sister too, then all the people they meet driving their Jeep & trailer across America! The trials and tribulations (sp) of a couple of 20 somethings who are looking for direction in LIFE!
Oh great, I can see it now, Jon and Itsi glide across America - a new Reality Show in High Definition!

I just want to say thanks for the compliments. We had a great time showing a private screening of the film at SegFest. We've had a couple other private screenings without so much Segway bias and there still seems to be the same fascination for it all.
I'm looking forward to how it unfolds. And Brooklyn - I hope it comes to a theater near you.
BTW - Who's Matt and who's Ben? ;)

Hunter - You are the Matt Damen (sp) and Josh is the Ben Afleck (sp) - you know those young turks that no one knew, then they made a movie a few years back are now are major movie stars and producers and one of them was going to marry JLo.....
You are the Segway version of them! Come to DC and you will become more famous than they are!!! (or maybe they are not that famous if no one knows recognizes the name) Or at least we will try to make that happen.

Josh, Hunter, Alon, Gannon and Rose ... these folks rock. I met them on my Seg in Chicago, I was there (not on my Seg) at their Boston finish, and I had breakfast with them the next morning in Boston as we all sat in some greasy spoon joint (that had great omelettes by the way) reading the story of the "America at 10mph" success on the front page of the Boston Globe ... which we found in a newspaper machine outside the greasy spoon joint.
These guys are my friends, and I'm proud of 'em. I'm glad several of you got to meet them at SegFest. :)

I am very happy to see that Hunter/Josh and team are getting the "props" they deserve for undertaking and seeing through the amazing journey. They had many detractors including people from Segway Chat in the beginning that were questioning there motives. As you all know even LLC would not endorse/help them. As the trip unfolded and the days after, they are being widely accepted and celebrated. These guys took an idea and realized it with passion and did not let "outside forces" undermine there dream. Great job guys!

I picture Hunter and Josh more as Cheech and Chong than Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. What do you thing they were doing in that Jeep when the camera wasn't rolling?

I completely forgot to mention my friend Gannon--a great gal--in my post above, and have edited it accordingly. My sincere apologies! :)

Josh and Hunter are good boys! And I never ever heard Cheech or Chong say the word "Dude!"
Jonathan - Trolls hang out under bridges, oh yea there is a big bridge in Brooklyn isn't there! Maybe you are right!

I haven't even seen the movie... If I knew they were showing it, maybe I would have made the trip home (NH) for SegFest.
So people liked it? Sort of? Cool. I wonder when I'll get the chance to see it. E-mail me if you snuck a camera into the preview :)
