Im doing research for a transportation project and am pulling together information on dimensions and user content.

I have searched the forum extensivly but have had a little trouble choosing the appropriate key words to get the information I need (Im sure this information is out there, but it is not on the segway site)

So far I have discovered that the handle height above the platform is ~104cm above the platform (or 41in for all of us SAE fellows)

The other two dimensions I am looking for are

Lowest handle height (from platform), and

the distance of the handlebars from the center of the torso.

Also, are you happy with this set up?

If not, what direction should these measurements be nudged in?

Thanks for all of your help.

On the handle bars, I have found that most of the people that ride them are in the ranges that you said, but as a rule I use.... standing flat on the ground and set the handle bars at the elbow for each person then when they glide they say it is perfect. I work with many different people range is from 4foot 7 inches ( (84 pounds dripping wet) to my Boss that is 6 foot 11 inches (310 pounds or more).

Hope this helps
