Whew...this Oklahoma jungle heat is tough to glide in.. here it is 8:00 pm and its 92 hot degrees outside and not a breath of air.
I like to glide as much as the next person, but heat and humidity are not a good mix. I think I will just leave the Seg in the nice cool house, and glide another day.

But there is always a 12.5 mph breeze...........

Is that George of the Jungle
OR
Jorge of the Gungle?
If the words are not spelled correctly it makes you doubt the accuracy of the numbers.

I'm heading for the jungle of iniquity. They are predicting 114 degrees in Vegas tomorrow but it will cool to 111 by the weekend.

Prime rib is prepared in an oven using dry heat.

I wouldn't worry about those statistics. They're similar to those here in Florida. I glide in such conditions all the time.

As it was proved last Friday Night in Manchester NH - Segways glide just fine in lots of water! Its the gliders (and their dogs) that get wet!

You guys call that heat and humidity?
Wednesday, 13 July, 11:30 AM, 114 Degrees, 87% humidity
Today (Thursday, 14 July) is relatively cool, 105 Degrees, 70% humidity
But, as Yossi said, I'm cool (in many ways) when I'm gliding!

Password doesn't work!

I got in with the password. It's case specific. I forgot to capitalize the D in Demo in my first round.

Does the word "Sirocco' ring a bell. Gliding today in 115 degrees at 6 PM was like standing front of a blast furnace. Why they didn't have this workshop in Anchorage, i'll never know. Next week I'm heading for the North Rim and its 8000 ft. elevation.
