2 - I167’s For Sale. only 2 to go..., 3 sold... Like New Condition, lightly used and well maintained. All are 2003 vintage and has v10 software. All machines have been used for the last 5 weeks only in our rental business. You can pick and chose amongst 12 machines in our shop at anytime. On average, all batteries get about 10 miles per charge. If You are willing to pick up machine in New Jersey, on LBI. you can test ride any one you want. You decide witch one you wont. I will Ship by Fedex ground to usa only. Add $100.00 for shipping.

I have 21 machines and now realize having 21 is over kill. I will sell 5 and maybe pick up 2 XT’s, and some li-on batteries whenever Segway LLC starts selling to existing users.

If you are a new glider, I will give you 2 hours free training.

Why do they only have version 10 software ? Since they are 2003 models I guess I thought they would have version 12 software. Also
I guess you would not want to ship since you said pickup in NJ.

Segway HTs didn't start shipping to general consumers until 2003. When they shipped in February/March, they had 10.0 software. The switch was made to 11.0 software during the spring or summer of 2003, and then to 12.0 during the fall of 2003.

The 10.0 software release had a bit different functionality (like faster power-assist, but not the helpful riderless balance mode for climbing stairs from 11.+)--but it doesn't have the added safety functionality, especially in the power management department, of 12.0. As I understand it, the upgrade to 12.0 has been, and probably still is, free of charge. If you bring those machines to SegwayFest Manchester this week, you could probably get a free upgrade :)

All is true SegwayUtal. I chose not to upgrade “personal choice” but can be very easily upgraded. I will ship Fedex ground to us only, for $100.00 additional. I will accept Credit cards.

I bought one of the i-167's from lbinet (Paul) and everything was as descibed. He shipped out Thursday AM and I had it on Friday morning in Western MD. I want to state that if you are looking for a Segway for a fair price, he's your man.
Give him a try.

P.S. The worst thing was waiting for 12 hours before setting out on my first glide.

I just got 4 new I167's from Paul. He personally delivered them to my office. All of the machines were still in the box 'new'. He delivered exactly what he promised. Very ethical and honest to deal with.

If anyone is looking for a new or slightly used Segway, Paul is the man...
