Are there any dealers out there who will take my i167 tradein on a new i180...it was 2 years old 2 June and in perfect looks and operating condition. Or anyone interested in buying it? Contact me off line if you like.

Hi. Of course first question is what allowance for mine? I have had no offers so far. I have the new fenders for it, which would make it perfect as to looks, however the original ones only have very minor abrasions on one of them in front which almost polished out. When I first got it the AC connector cord kept falling out and not charging at times. Segway sent me an entire new base section and a man down from Spokane (160 miles away) to install it.....also when the front plastic bumper came loose, they just sent me a whole new power shaft with handlebars...(I was amazed). Also they had the man install a new stand, which I have never used. I am 84 years old and have always treated it well!! It has had careful use no problems of any kind. As to shipping, I had mine shipped from Florida and it came by DHL.....there is no DHL service here and they warehoused it for further instructions about fifty miles from here. I wanted to go over to get it but after much red ape they got an independent carrier to bring it over. I don't know what would work this time. If there is any way I could prepay the shipping and pay you it would probaby cost me less. I have the original carton and packing.
I am ready to go when I can get rid of my i167. I am sorry, but I am unable to use the phone due to a severe hearing problem. Murray

Murray, I think you'll probably have to go into a store and discuss this, it probably can't be done via a written description on the web. I"m pretty sure that they'll have to see a unit before they can give you more than a ball park figure.

Hi Pam, Yes that is probably true. I am just "grasping at straws". Unlike a lot of people, I am thousands of miles from taking it in to a dealer. I realize that ANYONE can say ANYTHING in print and it might not be true. It has only been recently that we have seen dealers have been established and they are all getting their feet on the ground. I have already had responses, that at least two give tradein figures. I think I will try a local ad and then maybe try EBay. I would like mine sold before I get the new one, but it is not really necessary in my case. It is a touchy situation all around.....IF a dealer found mine was a "dawg" instead of the mint condition I claim, he could just tell me to send more money or pay him to return to me. I guess you might say its a "Catch 22" situation!! Ha. Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained. Thanks for the input Pam.
